Sad story, but not the first time I hear it. My advice is to let go, never threw good money after bad. The guy is now better known for his behaviour and will have to pay one way or the other anyway.

As it often turns out, you might win in court but the guy canīt pay you anyway since his biz is owned by his wife or some other setup to mess with the law...

Hopefully your car is now fixed and you can start enjoying it instead of spending money and aggravation in court. A-holes remain a-holes...
