I know Jim and Susan very well. We used to paddle together a lot. Although I don't think I've seen them since Wasau. Susan was paddling the very first rotomolded C-1 ever made (Sage?? by Perception) on the first river trip I ever did in Colorado back in 82. She's the one that got me thinking about C-1's. Jim used to paddle an ME back then.
I almost called them the other night when I read in Canoe and Kayak that Frankie Hubbard had died. They really liked his designs. Your right that Susan paddled one of his Edge's for quite a few years and the last time I saw them she had a kevlar Viper.
I have a couple of Gyramax's. My wife likes to paddle one and my 8yr old daughter gets the other when she's not in her kayak.
