When the annodized trim is new, it is black. It turns lighter and more chrome-ish as it ages. (starting with deep purple then getting lighter) There is nothing that can be done about that. The cloudiness within the trim can be fixed with Flitz, the shade cannot. The annodized trim is a different metal than the grill, it will never look exactly like that. The trim right off the assembly line isn't shiny like chrome. You can get a even patina finish of a non-polished metal which is what annodized trim is.

If you are looking for the chrome look on all your trim, I'm sure there are some aftermarket sources. To reinterate a previous post, sometimes it helps to leave Flitz on a area for about 5 mins, then remove. Repeat a few times and the uneven-cloudiness will disappear. If your still getting black off the removal rag...keep polishing.

Hope this helps...Lee
