I got an estimate from them. They're quite expensive. Here's their estimate:

1981 Mercedes Dash Pad Restoration in black $750, in color $800. Core and color sample needed. Turn around time is 6 weeks.

All I have to say is why pay $800 when you can get a coverlay dashboard cover. I estimated mine, I don't know if the 1981 300SD has the climate sensor on it, I think it does. But since I'm in Texas, and wanted it painted green, the grand total comes out to be $115.35 minus $7.29 if you're outside of Texas, and will be at your house in two weeks, and installation takes 8hrs total for the coverlay to set. In my opinion, I think the coverlay would be better if you just want to cover the cracks.
