Where exactly was the phone mounted? I've seen a phone mounted on the side of the center console on the carpeted area. If that is the case you can fuzz up the carpet in those specific spots and it should disappear for all practical purposes. If it is in the vinyl then it will be a case for either patching or learning to live with it. Failing either of those you could try picking up a used piece (if you could find one).
