A friends 1992 300E 4 matic has a sporadic problem which occurs about once a week. It has, thus far, only occurred at or near idle. The engine quits very abruptly and has to be restarted. Any BTDT's? I was thinking maybe fuel pump or some part of the ignition system. Could the idle stabilizer valve be sticking? Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.
