Had a big wind storm blow thru the Puget Sound area last night. About 6PM the kids came out of their room, saying they heard a loud crash outside their windows. We went out and sure enough, a big fir tree had come down. It was about 75" tall. It was the neighbors tree, luckily. It fell almost perfectly between our houses, almost like someone planned it. Just took out a section of fence on her side that needed to be replaced anyways.
The stupid thing is, she was warned to take that tree down! When we had a couple trees taken down last winter, the guy told me to tell my neighbor that she needs to have that particular tree taken down because it was dead on one side. I told her, and she just said "Oh. Ok." Hoo Boy!
She hasn't been home the last couple days, so she's in for a surprise when she comes home
