That possibility didn't come to my mind before. I might take the catalyst converter out and replace it with a pipe because I don't think any mechanic would want to repair it. It might have too much poison in it. I also can't afford to order a new one from Germany.
The law in my country does not require the catalyst converter because 99% of cars don't have it
