Both Mozilla and Firebird have everything I need for blocking pop-up garbage, including the capability to allow them from certain sites (i never do, though).

Funny you mentioned the flood of spam, TonySz. I got exactly the same thing after signing up for Chase's online stuff. I closed that card account soon afterwards even though they never fessed up to it (i sent repeated e-mails asking about it and they always slung fertilizer back at me, yet the spam mysteriously went away after the account was closed, though...)
