Very true. A 1987 300TDT isn't worth what they're asking. I know that those (603) engines have a problem (can't remember what), something happens prematurely to them. Maybe the head cracks prematurely or maybe it's something with the pistons... in any case it involves major engine work. Consider that in the price.
