Whoosh is from a volume, this isn't a high volume pump it is just high vacuum, I'm not sure if it'd whisle but the sound effect route isn't real promising for a means of testing.
~30.3"hg means there is NO air left, equivalent if you were in outer space, 0" hg is atmospheric pressure at sea level.
