As always, good advice from Chuck………………if new fuel and changing your fuel filter doesn’t solve your problem, get a hand sprayer………set the nozzle to a single stream …….once you get it started try squirting fuel into the air intake (carefully -no smoking etc!!)……..if you can keep it running you have confirmed it is a fuel supply problem………don’t know anything about the D-Jetronic…..…..my 280CE has the CIS / K-Jetronic………..others should be able to help

Apart from everything else in my Vintage Forum threads, I had to pull my tank……..clean out an amazing amount of crud and replace the in tank strainer…………now running quite well and 500miles on the clock since the re-birth
