I was fortunate enough, a few months ago, to obtain a 1:12 scale Mercedes 450SL model, by Doyusha. It came from a guy in Japan, and although the instructions were all in Japanese, the pictures were very clear and it went together rather easily. I painted the interior gray, like mine, and the exterior anthracite gray, like mine. The kit had "Bundt cake" and 15 hole rims, Euro and US headlights and bumbers. My 450 has Euro lites and US bumpers and Bundt cake wheels, so I was able to make it look almost exactly like my real one. The model has the battery in the engine compartment whereas my real one has it in the trunk. I painted brown where the wood trim goes, blah, blah, blah. Anyway, it looks really good. Next model project is the Ferrari F1 F2002, due to arrive in December. Now, if only I had a REAL one of THOSE!!!!
