well,that darn bodyart and his insanely clean engine pics prompted me to go out and clean my engine bay as best i could...i used a pressure washer and a lot of Purple Power and Gunk engine degreaser....i spent all day yesterday cleaning it up...and a while ago i popped the hood just to admire my handiwork....and ive sprung a leak!

forgive me for not knowing the correct terms for everything,but i hope youll be able to understand what im talking about...i noticed an oil leak on top of the oil pan...if you look down from the passenger side of the engine,you can see a tube running(from the engine?) down to the top of the oil pan....well,at the spot where that tube joins into the oil pan is where im leaking oil...its not a whole lot...hasnt even dripped on the ground yet,but its definitely leaking...is it just a seal that may have gone bad at the union of the tube and oil pan?

could someone elaborate on what this is,and how i might be able to fix this leak? thanks.....the car is an 85 300sd by the way...
