I have a 92 400SE (W140 S Class) that needs the front, lower ball joint replaced. After researching the problem, I’m still undecided if I want to tackle the job; or let a shop perform the work.

I would consider myself a good DIYer, but do you think I'm getting myself into a job that I should just leave to pros?
