I asked a service advisor at MB dealer whether the brake fluid level has to be between min and max. He said no. He added that it is impossible to overfill brake fluid.

However, AAA web site says differetly.

" The reservoir usually has FULL and ADD or MAX and MIN marks molded into its body, and the fluid level should be between these two indicators."

" You may find markings to indicate the correct level inside the reservoir. If not, be sure that the fluid level is about 1/4 to 3/8 inch from the top of the reservoir. ",8055,1004010302%257C2026,00.html

I just called to 1-800-FOR-MERCEDES.
She told me to take some out if the brake fluid level is above maximum.
