I am having an intermittant problem with my 380 SE.

Intermittantly it will have a high idle 1500-2000 RPM

I have checked for air leaks and found none using the can of
brake cleaner method.

if I unplug the idle valve the idle raises to about 2700 and it
drops back down to the 1500-2000 RPM range when it is pluged
back in, so I know the motor is working.

also sometimes it idles happily at 700 rpm without a problem.

any help would be apreciated
