I replaced the suspect Switchover Valve (#14) for Legroom Flaps (which do not open at any button/temp/blower setting) with a new one bought from the dealer. When I tested it (idle and at normal operating temp) the Legroom Flaps remain closed and the Main Flaps will not open or close. Hmmm.

I reversed the procedure and reinstalled the OLD Switchover Valve, and I was back to my original problem. Legroom Flaps will not open but this time the Main Flaps is okay.

As a further test, I re and re the Defrost (#15) Switchover Valve and the result is the same. Could it be a FAULTY NEW Switchover Valve? or ACC control unit?
