As a follow-on, I have a neighbor who has a 2000 LS400 with about 45K on it. This guy does his own maintenance and details the car after every use.

I told him that I wanted the car if he was going to sell it soon. I know that the timing belt, plugs and water pump has to be replaced at around 100K which is a fairly big expense but I can handle all the other maintenance. This would be a great car if I could get him to give it up.
