I generally tend to think that MB produced some of the best cars from 1975-1995. There was always a big gap between Mb and any other manufacturer. Well, that gap has been closing in on MB for 2 decades now, and overall cars today are much better than they were. I still love MB, but i do feel they have not been ablt to raise the bar, instead every else is catching up.

Now with platform sharing, plant sharing, engines uses in different models etc.. no car is individual anymore. It is a derivative of something else.
