I was wondering how to remove the dash lights(where the rear light switch, a/c knob, and rear defroster switch is) in my 1980 240D. The lights for the rear light switch,a/c knob, and rear defroster do not light up and I wanted to fix them(all the buttons work they just don't light up at night). If anyone knows how to replace the bulbs so they work please help. The rear defroster button only lights up when I turn it on when it's off it does not light up. Also, if anyone knows how to replace the dash bulbs underneath them that would be a huge help. I know how to take the knobs off and get those o-rings off but, I can't get that black knob(the one that directs the air up(towards the front defroster) or down(towards your feet) off because as you can see in the pictures I also need to change the bulbs so the whole dash lights up.
