Pete,

I got lucky to be in the right place at the right time.

The history of this car as I have been able to piece together.

She is a California native. Purchased new from the dealer and according to the maintenance log maintained by the dealer up to the last entry in the log at 159,000 miles. I was told the owner kept it garaged. Sold to the second owner in 1990. This is where the maintenance trail gets fuzzy. They were good at oil changes, at least that is what they told me. The car came to WA in 1999 and was garaged in 2000 because the vacuum system started to give up and the shop up here told them it would cost 2000.00 to fix it. Other than start-ups every so often it sat until I rescued it early this year.

When I picked it up it started right up and drove really nice. I had to get it out of their garage right away so I was unable to change the oil first. When I got it home I changed the oil and it has since sat while I have been doing a home remodel and getting my shop build. The shop is almost done and I will soon get time to get her running.

The list of things that need fixing is getting longer all the time.

Change all fluids.
Fix vacuum problems.
Valve adjust.
Radiator leak. Darn plastic thing.
A/C is an unknown.
Flex disks.
Battery tray.
Trunk lid seal.
Alge problem in fuel system.
