There is a temperature controller behind the glove box. I have attached a pic of it. The symptoms on mine (with a new climate control pushbutton unit) were as follows:
When I would go from off to economy nothing would happen. I could press any of the other buttons (pulling in the compressor) and then go back to the economy button and it would then stay on. I found a used one and put in there. Works as well as it is designed to
