cold start vavle, idle control valve hoses (the cold start lives in one of them), mixture adjustement, other vac leaks.

If you have a bad vac leak and weak cold start valve, you are going to have trouble starting cold. Vac leaks also cause stumbling off idle, and serious "throttle lag".

Check all the vac lines -- probably all leaking. Replace the rubber connectors and you should be fine. If not, check the duty cycle and adjust the mixture if you have to. Also check the EHA for leakage -- if it leaks, replace it.
