The 16 Valve wire harness is obviously different. The ECU is different, the fuel pump relay is different and of course, you'll need the pedals, neutral safety switch wired and I'm not entirely sure, but the driveshaft length may be different between the auto trans and the Gertag, but the flex discs are different.

BTW, the radiator and pump location is different, the 16V used dual fuel pumps at the gas tank (later model 2.3-8, did also), has a different a/c condensor, different power steering pump and different tachometer.
