If both mirrors are acting the same way, I would tend to think it's the switch also. Problem is I believe on your 210 chassis that you need to buy the whole lower switch pack as a unit, although I think it is resonably priced. It'll include all the switches on the center console: all the window switches and the mirror switches, switch to pop the trunk, etc. Super easy to replace, you can definitely do it yourself, don't need a single tool IIRC.
