I changed my FD 2 months ago and the problem went away.

Now it's back.

But my shade-tree skills enable me to tune the car such that it's still driveable, albeit running rich (low mpg) but smoking lightly instead of killing the motorcyclists behind me.

Don't have the old FD coz I bought the used one on a part-exchange basis.

FPReg is new.

Don't wanna have to get another FD coz it's ridiculous (gone bad in just 2 months?)!
