Opinion on coil springs

I just put new shocks on my '85 300D and was wondering if I should get new coil springs as well. Has anyone had experience with new coil springs? Are they worth the extra money?

Also, Mercedes made different sets of front coil springs for this car depending on whether it had a sunroof. Without a sunroof, they are about $80 each. With a sunroof, they are about $200 each!! Are they really different? If they are different, there's no way I'm going to pay the extra money (my car has the sunroof).

As far as rear springs, my car doesn't bounce in the rear or anything with the new shocks. Would it still be worth having new rear springs put on even if I don't do the front?

Any opinions are greatly valued.

Thanks,

Scott
