Happy New Year all and many blessings to the fine staff of this web site that offer so much to us DIY'rs of the Nth degree of in/competence?! (LOL)
This unusal Texas winter has gotten me really sparked up. As an electrician I hate getting bit and this static spark with nice 3/8" long blue streaks are getting old!!!! Any ideas from you techies out there about static drain methods? I've thought of using ground wire (braid type) for the C280 and my F-150. By bolting to a metal connection and letting it just touch the pavement. My thoughts are that the frame would be at the same potential as the ground and thus drain off the static. Any and all comments welcomed!!
