Makes sense...one of the other Scout boats has two Daimler-Benz gensets. I think they're OM616's, but I'm not sure...I've never been down in the engine room on that boat.

I wish there was space in the engine compartment on my boat for a genset; I'd love to get my hands on that engine and make it so we have power when the main engine's not running...but alas, no space and even if there were, the shipping cost would be prohibitive
