1. Are you checking it with the engine running at full operating temp aand on very level ground? If the engine is not running, it will show high on the stick if the level is correct.
2. I have siphoned from the dipstick tube. Probably shouldn't, but i did. Used a new, burr-free section of plastic hose, wiped clean with a clean lint-free towel.
3. Tranny fluid is NOT my beverage of choice!! (And the after-taste hangs around for a long time)
