Reality Check

FYI-the 'feel' of the shifter on an W123 MBZ will have little to nothing to do with the actual operation of the tranny. All the shifter mechanisim and shifter bushings are inside the car, bolted on the hump.

The shifter I have for my conversion feels great too. However, it's sitting on the workbench, unconnected. I guess the jury will be out on my tranny till the swap is done.

That all said, if I were you, I'd offer them $50-$100 for 'everything' you need...flywheel, pedal assy, shifter, transmission, hydraulic lines...then once you get it, run like hell and get away before they figure out what you've done.
