Hi All,

I purchased a '91 560 SEL, 100K miles. Love the car!!
Anyhow, the center console top won't slide back. It's stuck in the shut position. The button works, but it won't budge!? The lock is "vertical", I assume this is unlocked position.

Looks like in order to remove the whole unit, it has to be done from inside the compartment (that doesn't help much.)

I've worked at it, but would hate to break it.

Any ideas on this one?
