Question Unfortunately, my '86 560SL has to go...

Dear All:

Good news and bad news - I have to sell my 560SL. However, the good news is that I am expecting twins with my wife and hence the need to sell my Benz

Can you give me an idea of my cars value, or indeed, if you are interested in buying an SL? Here is a brief description:

1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SL with 75K miles and v good condition.
Carfax certified. No dents or dings. Non-smoker's car.
Arctic white exterior and blue leather interior.
Alpine AM/FM radio and CD player with remote control and Boston speakers.
Within the last 30 months, the following have been replaced: radiator, muffler, plugs, plug wires, rotor and coil, AC compressor, subframe mounts, vacuum lines. Tires still have plenty of tread left.

The AC has been converted from Freon to R134 though the AC needs recharging and may have some leaks? Does not currently blow cold air.

Just went through 75K service and state inspection.

Any ideas as to what would be a fair asking price? Local ads seem to be all over the place for these cars, starting at 12K for high mileage SL's going all the way up to 24K for very low mileage cars.

Thank you for any advice.
Regards, Ryan
