I put in some pioneer 4" front speakers. No mods neccesary. Don't remeber the model number, but they weren't very expensive. It sounds better then it did, but not great. PO had installed an amp and some yamaha speakers in the back. The amp is only hooked up to the rear speakers. It sounds decent, but it's just another thing on my list of things to get perfect.
