I used 4" Sony Xplode speakers in front , they dropped right in using the stock screw holes and grilles. The rears are 5 1/4" (125mm) Sony Xplode and I had to slightly trim the package tray (not the metal) to install them.They're driven by the head unit @ 45 watts per channel. I removed the first-aid kit and made a grille to cover the opening. I have 2 Rockford-Fosgate 10" subs in the trunk driven by an amp connected to the head unit's pre-outs , and the base filters through the grille. I bought all the speakers at my local stereo shop for cheap , less than $200 Cdn .It sounds pretty good for the price I paid.
