I believe you are SOL, the W115 is I think quite different.
Why would you prefer the 115 box over the 123 box?
I started to go out and look at my W115, I only have three W123 to do a side-by-side comparison, but I suddenly realized my W115 has manual steering :p (as in no power! - I love the way that one steers, just like days of old!)
I suggest you either find a used but fairly low mileage steering box, or have yours rebuilt. I have done both. I was lucky to find a 150K used box. It is tighter than the $300 rebuild I had done last December! FWIW, a good used box is hard to find these days but they are around. I saw a 300d non turbo at a wrecker in San Jose the speedometer showed 46K on it! That would be the steering box to get (provided you believe the readout)!
