Yes, Please, Larry. I've read all the posts I could find and none seem to apply to this 1980CD.
I've got a pushbutton unit that is wedged in between the sides of the console, won't go in or sideways enough to extricate. Maybe the "Jaws Of Life''?? Can't seem to find anything else to unscrew, unsnap or pry. I'm sure I need to resolder something in there. I get clicks when I depress the top three but none lower. The fan goes only on defrost. Mini-vac pulls only a few inches of vac and drops readily on the green line. I can hear vac leak near drivers side well---I'll get that pod fixed. I don't think it will solve the big prob but a miracle may just decend. ( Engine vac pump pulls 20 inches.)
Old guys shouldn't have to do the limbo under the steering wheel.
