I am also interested in upgrading my 87 300d. I replaced my 84 with cibie and what a great difference. I did run overwatt bulbs 80/100 with no problems. I look forward to doing it with the new 87

You will most likely have to change the bulb adapters as they insert into the bulb. I got mine from a junk yard. cheap

I would look on ebay. You can get them for about 225 or so.
