Does the trunk lock on your car have the same window up feature as the driver's door lock like my wagon does? If so try the window thing from there - it could eliminate the driver's door lock and internal mechanism as the problem. Do you hear any noise like a hum when you lock the doors? Vacuum problem maybe?
