This site pointed out the differences very clear. I presume that the following quote of DOT headlights goes for the euro lights, sold in the US, as well:
"Often, the lenses are made of polycarbonate or other plastics which are hyped as a good anti-shatter replacement for glass, but which quickly deteriorates, becoming cloudy and yellowed or scratched."
If I am correctly, the euro lights are just US manufactured headlights with sealed lenses that provide a different light beam...
I thought that the euro headlights would be exact similar to our headlights (with exchangeable lenses).
