Hope Someone one on this forum can help.I know it's not audio related but maybe there's hope.I bought my '87 300D last Nov.Since then I have determined the alarm is definitely not working.I have checked all fuses and wiring/connectors.Everything seems in order.The car had one owner,an older german fellow.I thing after a few annoyances he may have had it disabled.Not sure though.Where should i start to see if the system is even getting power?I read a topic that said the control unit is under the right side foot well plastic cover.I remove that and saw a small electrical box that said "becker" on it.Everything in this area is connected and like new.The battery was replaced just prior to me buying the car.Does the alarm have to be reset or something.I'll eventually figure it out.Not 'til spring though.Just need some good leads where to go first.
