I picked it up for 500$ as a learning experience... and I enjoy cars tremendously...

As I step through this thing one item at a time.. I keep running into another problem...

first the carbs were just horrible, so I swapped them for some new webers... nice kit... from JAM Engineering..

Now that car is not running so rich, it's running very hot... probably radiator.. i'll clean that..

I took off valve cover to adjust valves and noticed 2 cam lobes are scored pretty badly... I have another head and cam that came with the car... just wondering if they are right for the motor...

Why is the head gasket $100?

is it made out of gold? ahaha
