i'm not a tech, but I had a similar experience with my jeep. The fuel injectors seal at the injector was failing and fuel was leaking around the injectors.
I had noticed a gas smell coming from the engine area. checked all fuel lines they were ok, so under further inspection I noticed the injectors were leaking. Had them replaced, which wasn't too cheap at all.
i would definately have it looked at soon. I am always weary of driving a car with fuel leaking anywhere.
I'd hate to have a fire start because of it.
