First I just wanted to say hello as this is my first post. I have a 93 500E pearl black/black, 47k, completely stock.

I am looking at some carlsson 1/5 rims, 8x18F and 9x18R, and have been told they won't fit the 500E. Apparently the lug bolts used for the 500E are too small in diameter to fit on these carlsson rims which have large holes meant for the larger diameter lug bolts used on the larger cars such as S, CL, SL types. Is this true? Does anyone know the exact size of the bolts for the 500E vs the larger ones? Are there differnt lug bolts I can get?
