Is it the solid shaft that runs down the transmission on the passenger side and connects to the throttle linkage? It has several bends in it, (that are suppose to be there mind you). It has an 8mm nut to where it can be adjusted, or I think that is where it is adjusted. Am I talking about the right thing here? The w116 linkage is different than that of the w126. I'll try to post a picture, but won't be able to because I'll be out of town Tuesday and Wednesday.
