Where are you installing the solenoid?
If before the lift pump, pressures are at or below atmospheric.
If between the lift pump and IP, the pressures are above atmodpheric, but until I have the time for investigation, I cannot tell the pressures at that point, so play it safe and use a fuel pressure regulator to ensure that damage does not occur.
