Just my 2 cents.

The ultimate MB spark plug wire puller is not part 103 589 00 37 00.

Hazet part # 1849 is much better for removal. There are 3 variations of part Hazet 1849. One is 1849-2 and 1849-3 or something like this. You want the one that's simply 1849. One of the - something versions is a carbon copy of the MB part # mentioned above.

I've tried the "twisting-pulling by hand technique" - guess my hands are not up to the task. I agree with Larry that once they're off, a squirt of silicone dielectric grease helps next time around.

PartsShop may be able to get Hazet tools for you. They make alot of specialty tools for various auto manufacturers including MB.
