In the interest of keeping my herd "thinned" I think it's time that my beloved 450SL finds a new owner. Here is the information...

Been a member of our family since it was brand new. Purchased at Geller Imports on February 14th, 1977. Current mileage is 171K and here is a list of what work I have done on the car in the last two years:

-Timing chain, tensioner, rails.

-All new Conti drive belts.

-Major service (ALL fluids and filters changed), this was recent.

-New front subframe done by dealer in accordance with MB recall. While the subframe was being done, they rebuilt the ENTIRE front end (ALL NEW components) in addition to an alignment.

-New Michelin Energy MXV4 tires (3K miles on them MAX!).

-New rear springs and Bilstein shocks.

-Rebuilt steering box.

-New Conti brake flex hoses along with brake fluid flush.

-Body taken down to bare metal in 2002/2003 and refinished using original Glasurit paint in original color of Signal Red. All new rubber was installed before reassembly of car.

-New MB battery.

-New antenna mast, original Becker Mexico signal seek casette deck checked/serviced by Becker N. America.

There is more for sure, I just don't have all the paperwork in front of me right now. I have all records from new for this car and it runs and drives flawlessly, it is 100% turn key, needs nothing and is fresh out of winter storage.
