OBD-II scares me.
My wife had her '99 Tahoe in for an emissions inspection a few weeks ago here in the state of WA for the first time and all they did was hook up a connector to where you would hook up the diagnostic scan tool. It just took a few minutes and it was done. The print out didn't show any problems but it didn't show anything about how it did as far as emissions levels. I have no idea how close or how far it was from the max allowed levels. With the older cars you would get a print out of all the emissions levels. This scares me. I have no idea what's going on anymore.
Are the emissions tests the same in other states with the OBD-II systems?
